The S.S. Lane Victory is a Victory-class cargo ship constructed in 1945 for World War II to bring food and aid throughout the pacific. The ship resumed its service during the Korean War to aid in evacuation of thousands of troops and civilians. It was put into service one final time to deliver ammunition and supplies during the Vietnam War before being designated for conservation. The ship underwent extensive dry dock repairs and upgrades in 1992 and has since served as a museum and training vessel.
