Movies Filmed at Castillo de Peñíscola

Also known as the Castell del Papa Luna, this castle was constructed by the Knights Templar around 1300 and housed Pope Benedict XIII at the end of his life. The castle was restored in 1960 for the production of El Cid and remains a popular tourist destination.
