Nancy and Barb go over to Steve's house for a small party and Jonathan takes photos from the bushes in episode 1x02 “Chapter Two: The Weirdo on Maple Street”. Nancy looks for Barb as she is leaving but doesn't see any sign of her friend in episode 1x03 “Chapter Three: Holly, Jolly”.
