Howard loses at Go with Andrei in the morning before work in episode 1x01 “The Crossing”. Howard sits in the cafe to think while on the other side Emily reads the letters from her other in episode 1x03 “The Lost Art of Diplomacy”. Howard from the Other Side joins Andrei for a game and realizes he is playing better than his other. On the Other Side, Howard finds the cafe empty and receives a visit from Alexander Pope in episode 1x05 “Shaking the Tree”.
