Movies Filmed at Estación de Madrid Atocha

Sitting on the site of the first railway station in Madrid, the current Madrid Atocha was constructed in 1892 after the old station was destroyed in a fire. It was designed by Alberto de Palacio Elissagne in collaboration with Gustave Eiffel in a style that used extensive wrought iron. An extensive renovation began in 1985 that added a new terminal and transformed the original into a shopping and dining concourse.
