The Sex Lives of College Girls was filmed in Los Angeles & Seattle in the United States of America.
Season two filmed some of the outdoor scenes around the University of Washington campus. Many scenes were filmed in the Quad, especially on walks to the dorm. When showing Bela's friend from back home around they stand in Red Square and look at Suzzallo Library.

Exterior shots for Essex in season 1 were filmed at Vassar. Blodget Hall is used for outside of scenes of the dorm. Thompson Library is used in a scene and other buildings are shown occasionally.
