Toronto Eaton Centre, 220 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M5B 2L7, CanadaEaton Centre was constructed in 1977 by Timothy Eaton to house the Toronto flagship store of his eponymous department store chain and retains that name despite Eaton's going bankrupt in the 90s. The mall is centered around a vaulted glass-ceiling galleria designed by Eberhard Zeidler. The Yonge Street side of the mall was remodeled in the 2000s to add street-facing stores with a variety of facades to give the illusion that it consists of multiple buildings.
