Movies Filmed at Ponte City

The tallest residential building in Africa, the Ponte City Apartments were constructed in 1975 in what was, at the time, a very upscale neighborhood. During the late 80s gangs took over the area and many of the residents fled leaving a five-story high pile of refuse in the building's core. While the building has cleaned up some since then, several redevelopment attempts have faltered.
