The Four Seasons Centre is a 2,071-seat theatre constructed in 2006 in a modernist design by architecture firm Diamond and Schmitt Architects. The project was originally proposed in 1984, but funding issues pushed the start of construction until 2002. The interior of the hall is a five-tiered auditorium with advanced acoustic engineering including extensive rubber insulation of the entire structure to reduce street and subway noise.
