Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1924 for retailer Charles Ennis. The distinctive exterior of the building is constructed from 27,000 patterned granite blocks decorated in a Mayan revival style. The house was first used for filming only six years later in Female and has been used regularly ever since.
