The Reform Club is a private members' club constructed in 1841 by architect Sir Charles Barry in the Italian Renaissance style. While originally founded as an all-male club and home for progressive political parties, the club was the first of its kind to begin admitting women in 1981 and has now shifted to a less political role since the decline of the Liberal Party.
