Dan appears on the docks and sees a ghostly image of the Doctor who instructs him to stop jumping through time in episode 13x03 “Chapter Three: Once, Upon Time”. Dan is walking at night after being rejected by Diane when he finds Yaz and the Doctor waiting in episode 13x06 “Chapter Six: The Vanquishers”.
