Just about everything about MacLaren's Pub was Based on McGee's in Hell Kitchen, New York City. While How I Met Your Mother doesn't actually film here (they film at a sound stage in LA) we decided to include it because everyone seems to search the site for it. Also we hold out hope that they film one of the remaining episodes on location at McGee's.
