Part of Real Alcázar de Sevilla
The gardens in the Alcázar provided an important function the provide food and entertainment in the old Islamic fortification and palaces. They were extensively modified by designer Vermondo Resta in the 17th century which included transforming the old wall running through the gardens into a loggia for observing the surrounding gardens.
