Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA

Official Site

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of five venues that make up the Los Angeles Music Center, the other venues are the Mark Taper Forum, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre, and the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theatre. The building was designed by famed architect Frank Gehry with the acoustics designed by Minoru Nagata and Yasuhisa Toyota. While the initial funds were donated in 1987 and construction began in 1992, due to various fundraising issues the hall itself wasn't completed until 2003 at an estimated cost of $274 million. The outside of the hall is made of a series of sweeping, organic walls of polished stainless steel.
