Klaus and Number Five exit the building after their operation and Klaus tries to talk to Five but Five teleports away in episode 1x02 “Run Boy Run”. Number Five stakes out the prosthetics company the whole day and eventually sees the doctor handing off a suspicious duffle bag in exchange for cash in episode 1x03 “Extra Ordinary”. Diego and Luther find a clue inside Number Five's van and later Five arrives to find the lab building in flames in episode 1x04 “Man on the Moon”.
