Alhambra
C. Real de la Alhambra, 1T, 18009 Granada, SpainAlhambra is an Islamic fortified palace that began construction in 1238 by Muhammad I Ibn al-Ahmar. The palace became the site of the Royal Court of Ferdinand and Isabella in the 15th century with minor modifications, but most of its original design was retained. After centuries of neglect that site was extensively restored in the 19th century and became a popular tourist destination.
