Kamui Mintara, or Playground of the Gods in English, is a sculpture carved by Toko Nuburi in 1989–90. Nuburi is a Ainu woodcarver who hails from Burnaby's sister city of Kushiro on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. Nuburi visited Burnaby in 1985 as part of the 20-year anniversary of the relationship between the two cities and got inspiration for the project while atop Burnaby Mountain.
Barry finds the acolytes of Savitar performing some sort of worship on a mountaintop with the box in episode 3x15 “The Wrath of Savitar”. Savitar heads up the mountain with Killer Frost to complete his ascension in episode 3x23 “Finish Line”. Nora and Barry return to the defeat of Savitar to steal a piece of his suit in episode 5x08 “What's Past Is Prologue”.
The 'upgraded' team travels to a planet to destroy Apophis's new battleship in episode 4x03 “Upgrades”.
