Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Filming Locations

Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Hagrid leave Harry on the doorstep of the Dursley's house. Many years later, the family and Harry leave to avoid the relentless letters from Hogwarts.

Harry talks to a snake and accidentally uses magic to drop Dudley into the snake's enclosure.

Hagrid escorts Harry to The Leaky Caldron. At the time the store was empty, it is now occupied by The Glass House.

Hagrid takes Harry into Gringott's to access his vault.

Harry heads to catch the train and with the help of the Weasleys he heads to the hidden platform. Filmed between platforms 4 & 5.

The new students get off the train and are greeted by Hagrid who leads them off to the school. At the end of the year Hagrid gives Harry a photo album of his family.

McGonagall greets the first year students before they enter the Great Hall on their first day.

The new Gryffindor students are led to the entrance to their common room.

The trio learns Transfiguration from Professor McGonagall and after class Hermione joins Harry and Ron who are chatting in the quad. Later, Harry sees Snape talking with Quirrell while he is walking around under the invisibility cloak.

Professor Snape gives Harry a hard time during the potions class (in the Sacristy). McGonagall introduces Harry to Oliver Wood outside Professor Quirrell's Defense from the Dark Arts classroom (in the Warming Room). The trio find Harry's father's name in the Quidditch trophy case. Later, Harry finds the Mirror of Erised in a storage room (in the Chapter House).

Madame Hooch teaches the students how to fly on their broomsticks and Harry ends up demonstrating his flying abilities while saving Neville from Draco's bullying. Later the students walk around campus after exams.

Professor Flitwick teaches Charms to the new students and Hermione manages to cast Wingardium Leviosa on a feather.

Harry sneaks into the restricted section of the library using his invisibility cloak. Later, Hermione finds information on the Philosopher's Stone while the trio is studying. Later, Harry wakes up in the infirmary where he is being watched over by Dumbledore.

The trio heads to Hagrid's Hut to talk to him and later they have to return with Draco as punishment.

Hagrid leads the trio and Draco deep into the forest at night where Harry sees something devouring a unicorn.
