Eliot tries to confort Quentin when he is worrying about getting his memories of magic erased in episode 1x02 “The Source of Magic”. Kady talks to Penny about his psychic assignment and then he yells at Quentin to close down his mind in episode 1x03 “Consequences of Advanced Spellcasting”. Penny begins to hear the Beast talking in his mind in episode 1x11 “Remedial Battle Magic”.
